The history of Bandidos MC Finland started when a motorcycle club called Undertakers MC from
Honkanummi Finland, contacted the Bandidos in Denmark and stated that they want to bring the
Red & Gold colours to Finland On January 28th
1995 the dream of the former Undertakers MC became one step closer of being
reality when they started as an official Hangaround chapter in Bandidos MC.
In August 1995, more specifically on the 18th of August the hangaround chapter reached
Probationary status.
The Bandidos MC had now made their way in to Finland, although there would
still come many ups and downs during the upcoming years!
A sad and unfortunate event in Bandidos history in Finland took place in march 1996 outside the
Bandidos clubhouse. On march 1st there was a shooting outside the Helsinki clubhouse that lead to
the death of one of the original Axemen. Bandido Omppu died on march 17th 1996. His and the
others who have lost their lives, their actions will always have a huge impact on how the club looks today.
During the end of the 90's there was a lot of restructuring of the Bandidos MC Finland and then the
foundation of the club how it is now, was made! On January 18th
2000 two more lives would end way too early when some of the Helsinki Bandidos
were on trial in Lahti, for a non-lethal incident that took place in October 1999.
During a break from the trial some Bandidos & supporters were having lunch at a local restaurant
when armed men entered the restaurant and started shooting. Bandido Bempa, the president for the
Bandidos in Finland and Bandido Sakke lost their lives together with a supporter from Black
Rhinos MC. Several others were wounded!
The Bandidos MC in Finland has grown a lot from that point.
